Gamble Madsen

Gamble Madsen holds a Masters degree in Museum Studies from George Washington University and a PhD in Art History from the University of Southern California. Upon graduation she began teaching as a part-time professor of Art History, and has enjoyed working at Mt. San Antonio College, Occidental College, and the University of La Verne. Last year in Montreal she presented on Caravaggio at the annual conference of the International Association of Word and Image Studies, and this year she will be speaking on the symbolism of the pyramid at a session sponsored by the Academy of Jewish-Christian Studies at the International Medieval Congress held in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In August of 2011 she was appointed as the Art History Instructor at Monterey Peninsula College in Monterey, California.
